The IKA C 6000 calorimeter is designed to meet current international standards and guidelines for calorimetry (such as DIN, ISO and ASTM). An intuitive touchscreen interface guides the user through the entire workflow, from method selection to result evaluation.

With its high degree of built‑in automation, the C 6000 simplifies daily routines and delivers analyses with excellent repeatability and accuracy. A spherical combustion vessel ensures optimal heat transfer and fast measurements, while RFID technology enables convenient vessel identification. Data handling is flexible thanks to USB, Ethernet and serial connectivity.

The C 6000 offers three calorimetric test methods with user‑friendly operation:

Isoperibolic
Dynamic
Adiabatic, each with three selectable starting temperatures (22 °C, 25 °C, 30 °C)
