A wide selection of bioreactors
Infors, which is one of the world’s oldest manufacturers of bioreactors, has one of the most innovative programs for research, process engineering and production. Table models
These are above all models with autoclavable reactors and where the cultivation volume varies from 0.2 L to 10 L.
Single units
Minifors 2 is a compact and user-friendly model with a total volume of up to 6L, Labfors 5 which is incredibly flexible and is available with a total volume between 2L and 13L and Labfors 5 Lux which is a bioreactor for photosynthesis.
Multiple units/multibioreactors/parallel systems
Multifors 2 with two to six parallel containers with a total volume from 400 ml to 1,400 ml and Labfors 5 with up to 6 parallel units with a volume from 2L to 13L.
Pilot models
This refers to models with in situ-sterilizable (steel) containers and with cultivation volumes from 5L up to 750L.
The models are Techfors S which is a standard model in sizes from 15L to 45L total volume as well as Techfors which is a customer-built model in any size.
Solid state fermenter
Bacteria are not only found in liquids, but sometimes there is a need to grow bacteria from a more or less solid form. Here we have two models; Labfors 5 BioEtOH which is produced for simultaneous SSF as well as Terrafors.
