Enzymatic hydrolysis and fermentation (SSF) can now be combined in a single system by uniting the proven technology of a microbial bioreactor with innovative development of the motor and stirrer system. This delivers ideal mixing even at very high dry-matter contents. During anaerobic fermentation, the bioreactor provides optimal conditions for the culture and comprehensive control of the bioprocess.
