Ultra Yield® Flasks from Thomson are designed for the cultivation of E. coli and other microbial cells. The patented flask design helps improve aeration, increase cell density and support higher DNA and protein production.
The unique flask geometry enhances gas exchange compared with traditional shake flasks. Ultra Yield® Flasks can be used as single-use flasks or autoclaved up to three times, and are available in 125 mL, 250 mL, 500 mL, 1.5 L and 2.5 L sizes.
The flasks fit standard flask clamps and are easy to integrate into existing microbial growth protocols. They can be used together with AirOtop™ Enhanced Seals or vented screw caps for high gas exchange and sterile cultivation.
